Hi, I'm Sovah an interdisciplinary creative strategist and recent NYU Gallatin graduate, where I designed my own major exploring the intersection of art, design, architecture, technology, and environmental science.
With a background in studio art and a passion for visual storytelling, I bring a research-driven, design-forward approach to branding, curatorial work, and creative direction.
I was born on a small farm nestled in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina. My non-traditional upbringing allowed me to develop a fantastical imagination which grew into a passion for art-making at a young age. I'm excited about exploring how arts based practices can be integrated with technology and into business models to generate innovative outcomes.
My creative portfolio spans various mediums, encompassing fine arts, digital art, 3D modeling, photography, and fashion. My exploration of the art field has taken on multifaceted roles, from engaging in gallery curation and contributing to digital content and editorial projects in a museum setting to hands-on art teaching and involvement in the integration of art into conservation solutions.
In the realm of fine arts, my portfolio has won several awards including 13 Scholastic medals. My art has been displayed at The Gallatin Galleries in NOHO and toured the nation within the Scholastic art show.
